I went with my wife, and neither of us can speak French. The server was extremely patient and kind towards us. He taught us some basic French words, ensured that we felt welcomed, and the food was top notch! Highly recommend.

Top meal out of several weeks between France, Belgium and Italy. The Duck was so good and roasted Potatoes were perfect. Everyone loved their food and we came back a couple times. Frank was a great host. We will save this for the next time we visit Paris for sure!

Le Mastroquet is a genuine culinary gem nestled in the heart of Paris, at 3 Rue Riboutte. This French restaurant captures the essence of classic French cuisine with a fresh, heartfelt approach that speaks to both locals and travelers alike. From the moment you step inside, the warmth of the attentive staff invites you into a cozy atmosphere where every dish tells a story of passion and tradition.

The dining experience here is truly anchored by standout dishes such as the Confit de Canard, perfectly tender and rich, paired beautifully with roasted potatoes that bring an ideal balance of texture and flavor. Equally impressive is the Burrata served with a delicate truffle sauce, showcasing both creativity and respect for quality ingredients. The Pavé de Saumon with grilled vegetables offers a fresh, vibrant contrast, while the Souris d’agneau Purée Maison delivers rustic depth with its slow-cooked tenderness and creamy mash.

Delighting the palate extends beyond the mains at Le Mastroquet. The dessert selection is thoughtfully curated – the Crème Brûlée offers a sublime crackling crust over creamy custard, and the Tarte Aux Amandes Et Abricots, as well as the apple tart featuring Normandy apples, provide a sweet, regional touch that feels both authentic and soul-satisfying. Drinks such as the expertly crafted Negroni complete the experience, highlighting the restaurant’s attention to pairing quality beverages with rich cuisine.

What truly elevates Le Mastroquet, beyond its expertly prepared dishes, is the hospitality. Patrons often praise the warmth and patience of the staff—Franck’s multilingual charm ensures every guest feels welcome, understood, and cared for, which enhances the overall dining journey. This blend of exceptional food and heartfelt service makes it a must-visit destination when in Paris, promising a memorable and genuine taste of French gastronomy.
